About This Project
Etta Restaurant is a small neighbourhood dining room and bar in Brunswick East.
When it opened, Lygon St Nursery installed tropical plants in the small, intimate courtyard to complement the fantastic mural painted by Robert Bowers. The charming setting of the painting creates a stunning, warm backdrop to the dining room; however, the plants help to bring life to the artwork. As a result, the greenery, nestled behind the kitchen becomes the heart and soul of the restaurant.
Lygon St Nursery also installed greenery throughout the restaurant to provide subtle connections to the feature courtyard. Plants adorn the shelves, nestled amongst the glassware and behind the main bar. The plants continually offer a reminder to the patrons that Etta focuses on sustainable eating and an affectionate connection to nature. We certainly love coming back for dinner to eat the amazing meals and admire the greenery.
