About This Project
Lygon St Nursery has transformed each outdoor area of our Carlton landscape design project into inviting green havens.
In the landscape design we chose plants appropriate to the aspect of each space that also changed seasonally. As a result, the gardens transform beautifully every Autumn.
We planted deciduous Japanese maples, Smokebush, and Virginia creeper. With the result that the colours and textures are gorgeously striking. The Dichondra ground covers and creeping thyme planted between the pavers convert the once paved area into a green refuge. So, it is a delightful place to sit and enjoy the quiet of this urban courtyard.
Although small, the front garden is packed full of green and burgundy colours, exciting textures and climbing plants.
So each time we visit this project for garden maintenance, we are pleasantly surprised by its exciting growth and evolution.
