About This Project
Lygon St Nursery planted the front garden of this Canterbury landscape design project with Australian native plants. The garden also features locally sourced bronze granite; and bluestone stepping stones.
The recycled railway sleeper feature fence is a feature that compliments the front of the house built by Stonehaven Homes.
The house footprint allowed for many opportunities for feature planting outside windows and along paths. The striking ferns provide interesting views to the garden from within the house.
The back of the house already had open views to the nearby park, so we kept the planting simple. We planted low hedges to the boundary fences. This allowed for uninterrupted views from the balcony, however still provided privacy to the pool from the park.
